Chuene Mahlo Incorporated Attorneys was co-founded in 2009 by a black female attorney who has a passion for the law and for serving people. Chuene Mahlo Inc is a small sized law firm which operate primarily in the fields of general and specialised corporate, commercial, labour law and litigation.
We are committed to integrity, excellence, reliability and also building a personal relationship with every client: big, medium sized or small corporations; government departments and individuals. Chuene Mahlo Inc is a firm which is committed to aligning itself with the South African business model. We are thus a level 1 contributor BEE firm, owned and run by black attorneys, and determined to leave a national footprint in the legal fraternity.

Our Founders
Kholofelo Meso
DIRECTOR
Kholofelo Meso holds a BProc. and LLB degree from Vista University, completed in 1999 and 2001. She was admitted as an attorney in 2004, with expertise in labour, commercial
law, construction, and corporate litigation. Ms. Meso is completing a Post Graduate Certificate in commercial law and has established a construction claims department within her
firm, specializing in GCC, FIDIC, and NEC contracts.
Since 2012, she has chaired Pharmaceutical License Application appeal hearings for the National Department of Health. At MacRoberts Attorneys, she gained experience in Medical Law and worked with the Health Professions Council of South Africa. Ms. Meso is also a seasoned Labour Law practitioner, having chaired and initiated disciplinary proceedings for companies and SOEs, including the Road Accident Fund.
Sello Mahlo
DIRECTOR
Sello Mahlo completed his LLB at the University of South Africa in 2012 and was admitted as an attorney in 2014. With a focus on corporate litigation and commercial law, he is currently pursuing a master’s in Banking Law and a Post
Graduate Certificate in commercial law
Since 2016, Mr. Mahlo has defended medical negligence cases for the Gauteng Department of Health, including a notable R25 million claim. He has also chaired and initiated disciplinary hearings for the Road Accident Fund and represented the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession in disciplinary matters.
In 2021, he successfully led a legal team for the Civil Aviation Authority in a case involving aviation law and administrative law principles. Additionally, he is trained in civil mediation, enabling him to assist clients in resolving disputes efficiently.
